Joe Glo Espresso Machine Backflush Detergent Cleaner

Works as advertised and does well. My only suggestion is, after the first pull, mix the hot water and detergent left in the basket so that it more easily goes through the machine. Otherwise you might be left with undissolved, unused detergent in the basket.

Joe Glo made parts of my espresso machine and French press look like new. I wish I'd known about this product before. It really is a value and pleased me. I will be ordering more in the future.

I waited too long to get the right tools to keep my machine clean. Joe Glo, a brush and a blind basket. So cheap, and the results are spectacular. Joe Glo doesn't do a great job at descaling - could be how long I waited to descale my machine. But with regular use from day one, I bet it would help keep scale to a minimum. Get a brush that has a measuring spoon for Joe Glo on the end, and the blind 58mm basket fits on the lid of the Joe Glo (it doesn't get lost in my drawer!). Regular backflushing is easy and you can taste the results right away.

I bought this product to back flush my Rancilio Silvia and it does a great job. I have been trying to find a product to clean my stainless steel coffee travel mug. I tried this product and within a few minutes I rinsed it out and all the stains were gone and for the first time it looks like new. No scrubbing, just add 1 1/2 teaspoon Joe Glo to your 16 oz mug with some hot water. Wait a few minutes and rinse. Wow, was I surprised!

This is a great product and I highly recommend.

If you have a grimmy coffee stainless coffee maker, this will do the job. I'm sure it will work on glass too.

I had my espresso machine for over a year of use and never cleaned it. I didn't realize how much of an effect all that gunk and oil in there can make. Immediately after using this stuff the espresso turned out much much better than before and the machine produced a perfect 'puck' of grounds rather than the soupy grounds I used to have. I have been using it every month or two since.
