R C:The system will tell you when to do a cleaning. You can monitor "progress" towards a cleaning on the screen. Hit "P" button and check progress. I think system registers # of days, using machine turn on/off counting as a day. It is not even monthly. Hope this helps. I have been very happy with my machine and use it daily. Milk system cleaning is VERY important, incl rinsing out plastic tube after each use and rinsing the milk spout on the machine and washing out the metal siphon and lid on the milk container.May 3, 2013
Peggy B:I don't know the type of espresso machine that you use, but for mine the machine tells me when it is time to clean the machine. The message to clean appears after 220 cups of coffee. Based on that, it would depend upon how often you use the espresso machine. It could be about every 73 days or so for example. I hope that helps to answer your question.May 2, 2013
Larry W:My coffee machine is a Jura Capresso Impressa E8. The machine keeps track of how many cups have been brewed and then tells me when to use the cleaning table. I also tells me when to change the water filter. My coffee usage of about 6 to 8 cups per day requires a tablet to be used about once a month.May 2, 2013
Ruth P:My Jura is programmed to let me know when it is time to use the cleaning tablet. It is after a certain number of shots. So it would depend on how much coffe you drink. For me...an avid coffee drinker...I use one tablet about every 2 months.May 2, 2013
Bruce N asked:I have an Impressa J5 machine. Will these tablets work with it and do they replace the 1-step tablets that came with the machine?May 5, 2013
Teri KStaff:Yes, you will use these 2-Phase tablets in any of the Jura machines. I am not sure which 1-Step Tablets your machine came with, as Jura machines may need either a cleaning or a descaling tablet. This 2-Phase tablet is used in the bipass doser as part of the cleaning process of your Jura machine. Hope this helps!May 6, 2013
This is a great setup! I was up and running in no time, making better tasting drinks than I can buy at the local coffee houses! The customer service was great and shipping was fast! Thanks Seattle Coffee Gear!
