It's a new year! A new you! Time to take everything back to the studs and improve upon them -- right? And any plan for self-improvement most surely involves bacon -- at least, any plan we're interested in hearing about does. And why not take bacon to a higher level by pairing it with espresso? Watch as Brandi takes us to the limit, one more time.

Ingredients

  • 3 shots of espresso
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cardamom
Directions Combine the syrup ingredients in a press pot and allow it to steep overnight. Cook up a grip o' bacon (we just baked ours in the oven) and then brush each side of them with the glaze. Allow them to cool slightly and then say goodbye to your waistline! It's time to get serious.
