Shipping policy

Seattle Coffee Gear strives to provide excellent service and makes its best effort to meet the timing commitments detailed in this policy. Please thoroughly review this so that you know what to expect regarding receipt of your order with us.

Please Note: All shipping carriers are experiencing unprecedented volume that may cause tracking update and final delivery delays. We process orders at our distribution centers around the clock to get your order in transit as fast as possible! However, delivery dates during check out are estimations provided by the shipping carrier and some packages may experience delays while in transit. It may take up to 24 hours for the first tracking scan to appear online though the package has departed our facilities. Once the package has been scanned by the carrier, the estimated delivery will update on the carriers tracking site.

General Terms

We ship to all 50 United States. We are able to ship some items to APO/military addresses but weight restrictions may apply and orders must be placed over the phone and not online. We do not ship outside of the United States.

Order Cancellation and Changes

Once a tracking code has been generated, we will not cancel or make changes to your order.

Shipping Method

We reserve the right to use a different shipping carrier (using a comparable service) than what was selected at checkout. Orders will be shipped using our preferred provider and we are unable to accommodate shipping orders on a customer's personal shipping account.

Free/Included Items

Free or bonus items included with purchase may be substituted with other items of similar value as necessary and will be shipped using the lowest cost means available.

Bulk Orders

In order to better serve our customers, we limit sales of filters, cleaning products, and select parts to 10 per customer. If you wish to purchase these items in larger quantities and/or for resale, we suggest you reach out to inside.sales@seattlecoffeegear.com or contact the manufacturer directly.

Tracking Information

We will post tracking numbers to your order at the time of shipment or as soon as they are available. If there is a signature requirement on your package, for security purposes we will not remove that requirement for any reason.

Address Changes

Packages will be delivered to the address confirmed on your order. For security, address changes cannot be made after the order is placed. We are unable to change shipping addresses, redirect, or place a hold on a shipped package.

Refused Delivery

If you elect to refuse the delivery of the items you ordered from Seattle Coffee Gear or return items without requesting a RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization), a 20% restocking fee plus original shipping charges will be deducted from your refund.

Accepted Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods on most orders: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, PayPal, Amazon Pay, Apple Pay (On a supported device), Affirm (Please see product or cart page for more details on Affirm's financing options), Seattle Coffee Gear Gift Cards or Gift Certificates.

On Subscription Coffee orders, we only accept the following payment methods: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover.

Free Shipping Terms - Delivery within 5–12 Business Days

Free shipping is available on orders over $49 to any address in the contiguous United States, it's that simple! Free shipping does not apply to orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, APO/military addresses or on any international orders. We will use the lowest cost means for free shipping. Free shipping delivery dates are best estimates provided by the shipping carrier and are not guaranteed. You may select from faster shipping methods during checkout.

Free Shipping Terms - Subscription Orders

Subscription order ship free on all orders $25 and over. Free shipping does not apply to orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, APO/military addresses or on any international orders.

Paid Shipping Terms

Washington:
Orders placed with paid shipping methods (Standard, Expedited) before 1pm Pacific Time that are fulfilled from our Seattle Distribution Center will ship same business day; those placed on Saturday or Sunday will ship next business day.

Indiana:
Orders placed with paid shipping methods (Standard, Expedited) before 4pm Eastern Time that are fulfilled from our Indiana Distribution Center utilizing a ground carrier will ship same business day; those placed on Saturday or Sunday will ship next business day. Orders that utilize an air carrier need to be placed before 1pm Eastern Time to ship same business day; those placed on Saturday or Sunday will ship next business day.

Utah:
Orders placed with paid shipping methods (Standard, Expedited) before 4pm Mountain Time that are fulfilled from our Utah Distribution Center utilizing a ground carrier will ship same business day; those placed on Saturday or Sunday will ship next business day. Orders that utilize an air carrier need to be placed before 1pm Mountain Time to ship same business day; those placed on Saturday or Sunday will ship next business day.

Paid shipping methods are guaranteed up to the amount of any paid shipping. In the event the shipping date is not met, a refund on the shipping charge may be requested by contacting Customer Support.

Commercial Equipment & Items that ship via Freight

The customer is responsible for all freight charges on commercial machine shipments. Freight charges to Alaska and Hawaii may be higher than the continental United States, if there are any discrepancies regarding your order in one of these states, we will reach out after placing your order and prior to the order shipping out.

Open Box Equipment

Open Box items may not come with some accessories, filters (if applicable), or other items like would be included with a new machine. We strive to include as many original items as possible with Open Box items, but unfortunately cannot promise every non-essential accessory will be in the box. Open Box items also come with the original Manufacturer's Warranty.

Timing of Your Shipment

You are responsible for choosing the appropriate shipping method in determining the timing of your delivery. To confirm estimated shipping time, enter your ZIP code into the cart before checkout. For guaranteed delivery by a specific date, you may need to choose an expedited shipping method. If you have any questions about the timing of your shipment, please contact us prior to placing your order. Some products are shipped directly from the manufacturer in order to save time and/or distance.

Damaged, Missing, Defective or Malfunctioning New Merchandise Policy

Please report damaged, missing, defective or malfunctioning merchandise immediately and no later than 5 business days of delivery.

Damaged Merchandise

Items are carefully packaged to protect against damage during shipping. Please carefully inspect your package when it arrives for any shipping damage. If an item appears to be damaged, do not attempt to use it and notify us immediately so that we can begin the claims process.

Missing Merchandise

Please note that we often ship orders in multiple packages. However, if items are apparently missing from your order, please report it to us immediately so we can track packages and replace the shipment if necessary.

Defective or Malfunctioning New Merchandise

If any item is not working properly or if a consumable item was received expired, please contact us immediately so that we can help set up a replacement. We strive our best to help troubleshoot any issues with your new machine! Please be ready to provide documentation of the defects to better help us process your return or replacement as well as to assist in the troubleshooting process.

Promotional Gift Cards

If a promotional gift card is issued, provided as a free item with purchase or otherwise at no cost, the gift card will expire 90 days from the date it was issued. You will receive your gift card via an email within 1 business day of your entire order shipping out. If you entire order has shipped out and you have not received your gift card code, please contact Our Support Team.

Exclusive Set Up Videos

Exclusive set up videos will be loaded into your account after the order ships out. We urge you to create an account prior to or when placing your order for an item with a setup video, rather than checkout as a guest, because of this.
