St. Patrick’s Day Drink: Cereal Milk Irish coffee 1oz Jameson Caskmates Stout Edition 4oz Big Trouble, hot brew method of choice 2 bar spoons sugar Cornflake infused whipped cream Cornflake crunch garnishCornflake Crunch2 cups Cornflakes, lightly crushed 1/4 cup dry milk powder 1 1/2 tablespoons granulated sugar 1/2 teaspoon salt 5 tablespoons melted unsalted butter Preheat oven to 275 degrees, and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a large bowl, toss the Cornflakes with milk powder, sugar, salt, and butter until coated. Spread mixture on baking sheet and bake until golden, about 20 minutes. Remove from oven, and let cool completely. Store in an airtight container. Cornflake Infused Heavy Whipping Cream 2 cups heavy whipping cream 1 cup Cornflakes, toasted Toast Cornflakes in a dry pan until golden. Let cool in a large bowl. Once cooled, pour heavy whipping cream into bowl, and allow to infuse for 45 minutes. Strain mixture into bowl, and discard soggy cereal. Store infused cream in airtight container in refrigerator for up to 1 week. Cereal Milk Irish Coffee 1 oz Jameson Caskmates Stout Edition 4 oz Big Trouble, hot brew method of choice 2 bars spoons sugar Cornflake infused whipped cream Cornflake crunch for garnish Step 1: Pour 1/4 cup chilled Cornflake infused heavy cream. Whisk until soft peaks form and set aside. Step 2: Combine whiskey, coffee, and sugar in an Irish coffee mug, or clear glass mug of choice, leaving an inch of room. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Top with whipped cream and Cornflake crunch.
