Strawberry Espresso Sparkler Recipe

This sweet treat is perfect for the 4th of July holiday!

Ingredients:

  • Ice 2 oz strawberry syrup
  • 5 oz club soda
  • 2 oz espresso
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • Pop rocks candy
  • Strawberry for garnish
  • White chocolate melting chips

Instructions:

Prep the drink strawberry garnish by melting white chocolate chips with a small amount of neutral oil (like avocado oil).

Once melted, dip your strawberry in and then dip it or roll it in blue pop rocks candy. Set aside.

To build the drink add ice to a glass and drizzle the ice with a generous amount of strawberry syrup*. Top with club soda.

Brew your espresso shot and float that on top.

For your cold foam, froth with a small amount of vanilla syrup or simple syrup then add to the top of your drink.

Carefully add each ingredient to create beautiful layers! T

o finish the drink, sprinkle pop rocks on top of the cold foam and add your white chocolate strawberry to the side of the glass. Cheers!

(*Strawberry syrup: add 1 cup water, 1 cup sugar, and 1 cup frozen strawberries to a pot. Bring to a simmer stirring and mashing the strawberries for ~10 minutes. Remove from heat and add a squeeze of lemon juice and 1/2 tsp vanilla. Stir and let cool then strain the strawberries out. Keep syrup for up to 2 weeks in the fridge.)
