Hey coffee lovers,

We've gotten some great new gear over the last few months and we figured we should share the crop in case you've missed anything! From drip brewers to superautos, here's a look at some of our freshest new gear.

Philips 4300 Superautomatic Espresso Machine

If you've been living under a giant coffee bean its possible you still haven't heard of the Philips 4300 Superautomatic Espresso Machine. Let's fix that! The 4300 is Philips' new entry into their line of high quality but affordable superautomatic espresso machines. If you're not familiar, a superauto is a machine with a grinder, brew unit, and milk frother all built into the same machine. The 4300 enters Philips' line of superautos at the top end, but it justifies its price. This machine features a vibrant, easy to read screen to augment the interface. It's still controlled by buttons rather than a touch screen, but we're not complaining. The screen gives you the ability to control numerous aspects of brewing such as strength and volume. The added bonus? This screen makes maintaining and setting up your machine easier than ever. No more confusing lights or checking the manual to see what you need to do, this screen tells you itself! You can also opt for the LatteGo version of the machine, which includes easily controllable automatic milk frothing. We're really excited about this machine and we think it's an excellent deal when you factor in its capabilities and price.

Technivorm Moccamaster KBGV Select Drip Brewer

The Moccamaster KBGV Select is Technivorm's newest drip brewer. You've probably heard us rave about it already, but in case you haven't, here's the scoop. This brewer maintains Technivorm's classic, high performance design concepts while delivering the ability to select from full put or half pot modes. This may not sound like anything too special at first, but we're quite impressed with it. By modulating flow rates this brewer ensures that you get the ideal saturation and water flow for whatever volume you're brewing. You might not think that matters too much, but it really makes a difference, and now you don't have to choose between getting the very best flavor and wasting that extra coffee! Perfect for anyone shopping for their first SCA Certified coffee maker or for your next upgrade.

New Ascaso Machine and Grinder

We're excited to bring you two new Ascaso items, the Steel Uno superautomatic espresso machine and the I-Mini Espresso Grinder! The Steel Uno takes a shot at delivering higher end performance with a built in PID controller and volumetric shots. The stark, modern look also cuts a striking image on your countertop. Pair it with the I-Mini's 54mm flat steel burrs and compact footprint and you've got yourself a decent little starter espresso setup! A great option for anyone looking at jumping into home espresso with something on the higher end of entry level, or if you want to start upgrading a bit into the prosumer market without spending more than $2,000.
