Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp banana bread syrup*
- 2oz espresso
- 5oz steamed milk
- Cinnamon for garnish
Instructions:
Add 1 tbsp of banana bread syrup* to mug and brew a 2oz espresso shot right on top.
Steam your milk of choice and pour over banana bread espresso.
Top with sprinkled cinnamon and enjoy!
Syrup*
- 1 banana
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp vanilla bean paste
*To make the syrup:
In a pot add 1 cup brown sugar and then 1 cup water and let dissolve.
Mash 1 banana on a plate and then add into the sugar mixture along with 1/2 tsp of cinnamon.
Let simmer for 5-10 minutes then remove from heat.
Stir in the vanilla bean paste and let the syrup cool.
Once cool, strain out the banana and your syrup is ready!
