Tis the season to indulge your sweet tooth - and this candy latte is the perfect way to do it!
Ingredients:
- 100g candy corn
- 2oz espresso
- 6-8oz steamed milk
- Whipped cream
Instructions:
To a stove pot, add 100 grams of candy corn and 50 grams of water.
Simmer on medium-low heat to dissolve the candy corn into a syrup.
Make sure to remove from heat before it starts bubbling so that it remains syrupy.
Set syrup aside (makes 2-4 servings).
In your coffee mug, add your desired amount of syrup.
Steam your milk, then combine it with the orange candy corn syrup in the mug.
Float an espresso shot on top.
For layered presentation, add syrup, then milk, and finish with the espresso shot.
For taste, you can also add syrup, then espresso, and top with milk.
For garnish, add a generous dollop of whipped cream, festive sprinkles, and a piece of candy corn on top. Enjoy!
