Celebrate the turning of the New Year with this delicious espresso cocktail!
Ingredients:
- 2 oz espresso
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- 2 oz apple brandy
- 2 oz pomegranate juice
- Dash of aromatic bitters
- Ice Apple sliced into wheels for garnish
Instructions:
Brew a shot of espresso and while it's still hot, add in brown sugar.
Mix to dissolve the sugar and set aside.
To a shaker glass, add in apple brandy, pomegranate juice, dash of bitters, and sugared espresso with ice and shake vigorously.
Strain into coupe glasses and top with apple wheel.
Tips: cut the apple perpendicular to the stem to get slices with a star from the seeds. Using a lemon or lime, add juice all over apple to prevent from oxidizing/browning.
