Clean your Jura milk frothing system or FrothXpress attachment with ease. The Jura Milk Frother Cappuccino Cleaning Liquid is specially formulated to work in conjunction with your Jura Impressa coffee machines with automatic milk frothing capabilities. Regularly cleaning your milk frothing system will assure freshly frothed milk every time and prevent clogs from leftover milk residue. The Jura Milk Frother Cappuccino Cleaning Liquid is Ideal for all Jura Impressa models and many machines that have an automatic frother.
Best Answer:That depends entirely on how much the frother is used. In home use of 6+ cups of cappuccino most days of the month and using the cleaning liquid once at the end of the day, the 8 oz. bottle lasts about a month using about 1/2 the amount of cleaner (15oz) indicated in the Jura C9 Manual. Three years of experience with the C9 leads me to the conclusion that daily cleaning with less liquid works better than less frequent cleaning with more cleaner. Soaking the disassembled frother in a little warm water with several drops of liquid dish soap for about 15 minutes once a month helps a lot and was suggested to me by the Jura people. The small dental flossing brushes are useful in cleaning the several ports in the frother parts too.
We have had our coffee maker for 4 years and are just starting on our second bottle. We did purchase an external milk frother about a year ago (Capresso), so we don't need to clean our Jura frother any longer. I do use the cleaning liquid to clean our external frother, from time to time, due to the small places that I can't reach.
The product does last quite a while, and it works incredibly well.
Obviously depends on how often you use the frother. I use it about 1-2 times a week average but I also use a smaller amount of cleaner (about half) than recommended mostly because amount stated to use on bottle seems high. Bottle has lasted over 4 months for me.
Hello everyone! I recently bought a Jura C5. Nice machine. I didn't have any luck using the 2 stage Frother that came with the machine so I purchased a professional fine foam Frother. Works great except for the temp. But that's a different question. When I purchased the Frother it came with a small bottle of cleaner. The directions are in German, I assume.. How do you use the cleaner. Diluted? Straight? If diluted what's the ratio? Thanks in advanced for any help. Also If you want to address the temp issue please feel free! Once again.. thank you!

Best Answer:Here is the instruction on the bottle:
Instructions for use for all JURA Automatic Coffee Centers Refer to the instructions of your JURA machine or proceed as follows:
- Remove all frother parts, hoses and lids which come into contact with milk from the machine and place in a large cup or mug. Add approx. 8 to 10 oz. of fresh water - Fill the measuring cap of the cleaner bottle to the 15 ml mark with the cleaner and add to the water. Within an hour all parts will be free of milk fat. - Remove all parts and rinse thoroughly with fresh water.
Please note: If parts show signs of old, hardened milk deposits: Use warm water, double the dosage (30 ml) and let the solution stand overnight.
Best Answer:Yes, it's definitely a good idea to use the milk frother cleaner daily. If you're in between cups for the day (you've maybe enjoyed a cup or two and are taking a bit of a break before your late morning cup, etc.) then rinsing is completely fine. We recommend using the cleaner daily because any remaining milk residue should ideally not sit overnight, causing buildup and possibly affecting the taste/consistency of your milk the next day.
It's also important that pretty frequently (ideally every couple to 3 days) that the whole cappuccinatore/steaming components are removed and fully disassembled and cleaned.
This regular maintenance will keep your machine happy and healthy, and will help you continue enjoying all of its glory!
Best Answer:You can certainly use Rinza as a milk frother cleaner (this is what it does, after all), but do be careful of your warranty. Jura warranties their machines based on using their cleaning products, so while under their warranty period, we would recommend using Jura branded products. Once outside of that warranty, though, you can use whatever cleaning products you would prefer, and Rinza does an equally great job of removing milk residue to the Jura Milk Frother Cleaner.
I use the milk system daily and therefore clean it at the end of each day. Also wash out tubes and milk container. Clean makes for better tasting coffee. I use 2 10 oz frothing containers, one for cleaning solution and other one catches the output of cleaning. Then I rinse them out and do the milk system rinse. Simple and fast. Don't skip cleaning.

Does the JobReview by Garuda Addict
You already know you need to use it at least once a day. However, you may discover that if you slack off on your cleaning, two consecutive cappuccino cleaning cycles restores your seductively fine milk foam. I use it for my Z7 and having the perfect foam on my morning cappuccino really sets the tone for the day. Don't skimp on this product.

Milk Frother works great!Review by bozworth99
I have had my Jura Capresso for a year and I cleaned the milk frother everyday, but it turned yellow despite my efforts. The cleaning liquid worked great! It turned the tube white again and cleaned the milk parts extremely well. No need to ever visit Starbucks again.
Easy To Use, Very effective
