What's so special about MiiR? Through their one4one initiative MiiR provides one person clean water for one year through each tumbler sale. You can track your tumbler purchase to a specific clean water project in Africa with the impact bracelet provided.
Double Wall - Keeps your hand happy and your drink hot or cold longer.
Colorful - Stay classy on the road of life with these cheery colors.
Right Size - Sure some days you feel like a venti, but take the time to savor your coffee and you will see this 12 ounce to-go cup is more comfortable to hold and store.
One Size - Available only in 12 ounce capacity at this time.
Slip and Slide - Will fall over in a cardboard drink carrier because there is no friction to keep it in place.
Sloshed - This has an open drink hole lid which makes it easier to clean but if it gets too full there could be a bit of overflow without a closure to keep it in.
How Does it Compare?
Nothing has contributed to our mosaic of happiness as much as the story behind MiiR's one4one Initiative to bring clean well water to people around the world. It is a great Seattle-based company and the Travel Tumbler is an all-around staff favorite. You like Fair Trade coffee? Great! Grab a tumbler that does good too.
Tips and Tricks
BPA-free. Top rack dishwasher safe for stainless steel tumbler, but we recommend hand washing to preserve the brightly colored finishes. Do not use in the microwave. Do not freeze.
What are the dimensions of the lid? I'd like to second the suggestion made by a previous poster that the lid be shown in the illustration.

Best Answer:I did request that our marketing team add some photos of the MiiR Tumbler lid, and took a few measurements. Across the top the lid is about 3 3/8 inches and in the inside the interior measurement across is about 3 inches at a rubber gasket that nests inside the cup to seal in the liquid. The lid is about 5/8 inches high. Hope this helps for now!
Could you show details of the lid? For a travel tumbler the lid is the most important part.

Best Answer:I will pass along the request to marketing! This MiiR tumbler has been a huge seller for us- mostly by employees who love it! Haley in customer service says she uses her daily, and the lid is well sealing, but does not have a completely closed top. It has a rubber ring around the rim to keep heat/cold in and a small oval drinking spout. Hope this helps a bit for you!
I have had one of these cups (orange) for a couple of years. I have used it regularly at work and have traveled with it. My experience has been generally positive. I had have no real problems with the lid (the small vent hole sometimes gets plugged with liquid, but that is easily fixed). The coffee stays hot/warm for a reasonable amount of time. The paint has started to chip seemingly from getting battered in my backpack that I carry to work. I would recommend this cup to others. The lid stays tight, the coffee stays warm, and the design is simple, which leads to easy cleaning. (Posted on 2/4/2017)
The Lid: A dissenting viewReview by Bright Cloudy Day
I'm having no trouble drinking out of my tumbler with the lid on. I was skeptical when I noticed that the inner insulation wall seemed to block half the drinking hole (@ Eidolon Hiker--cool nickname, by the way!), but I find the flow comes out at a comfortable rate for sipping a hot beverage. (That's sipping--not sucking, not gulping. Your drinking habits may be different from mine. Also, milk-foamy beverages aren't my jam, so I can't speak to how the lid would perform with a cappuccino.)
Other things I like about this tumbler:
* The size: 12 oz is just right; so many other travel cups are bigger, so I was glad to find this one. Now when I order a "tall" I don't have to explain to the barista how high to fill my 16-oz travel cup. It's also slim, streamlined, unbreakable, and lightweight, so I'm planning to tote it everywhere.
* Temperature regulation: I have a 12 oz HydroFlask, which I bought to use for hot beverages, but which I don't use for that purpose because my drink stays inconveniently hot for an inconveniently long time. That would be great if I wanted to save my coffee to drink hours later...but that's not what I normally do. The MiiR tumbler keeps the drink at an appealingly hot drinking temperature for as long as it takes me to finish it--even with the lid off.
* The mission: Clean water for one person for one year? Awesome.
So far my only quibble is that the un-insulated portion of the lip of the tumbler can feel a little disconcertingly hot against my bottom lip. But I figure that if the drink isn't hot enough to burn the inside of my mouth when I drink it, it won't be hot enough to burn my lip on the outside.
I would recommend this product. (Posted on 5/14/2015)
Lid is HORRIBLE!Review by CoffeeAddict
Was really excited about my initial purchase. Company has a great premise and who can't get behind that? But.....this purchase was a HUGE disappointment! Seems they worked hard at the aesthetics of this (it's pretty looking) but not on the mechanics. It's sort of like going on a date with a hot guy who spits when he talks. Doesn't work for me. Won't be recommending this product and for the price, I won't be buying anything else from them. (Posted on 4/9/2015)
Poor lid compatibilityReview by Eidolon Hiker
The double wall insulation blocks half of the sip lid hole... And the pressure release hole on the opposite side of the lid is too tiny for enough air to escape and compensate for the small drinking hole. Bleh. (Posted on 2/10/2015)
