Safonia Shipping Protection FAQ

 

Signing up for shipping protection through Safonia gives you peace of mind knowing your order is covered against loss, damage, or theft during transit. It ensures quick resolutions and hassle-free replacements or refunds if something goes wrong with your delivery. With Safonia’s protection, you can shop confidently knowing your purchase is fully safeguarded from checkout to arrival. Check out these frequently asked questions about Safonia Shipping Protection:

Safonia covers packages that are lost, stolen (marked “delivered” but not received), or damaged in transit.

  • Incorrect address provided by the customer
  • Packages redirected to a new address after shipping
  • Delays due to weather, customs, or carrier disruptions
  • Items left unattended beyond the claim filing window
  • Light cosmetic defects from manufacturing processes, or from open box products

If your package hasn't arrived 10 days after the carrier's expected delivery date (with no delivery scan), you can report it as lost starting on day 11.  You have up to 30 days from the carrier's expected delivery date to file your claim.

Submit a claim within 5 days of delivery. Include photos of the packaging and damaged item(s).

Most claims are reviewed within 48 hours after all required information is received.

Your order number, affected item(s), photos if damaged, and a brief description of what happened. Required details can be found on Safonia’s claims portal.

We email you with the result. Safonia may:

  • Refund: Refund the item price (excludes taxes, shipping, and Safonia fee).
  • Replacement: Ship a replacement with shipping and taxes covered.

You may cancel and refund the Safonia fee if your order hasn’t shipped yet. Once shipped, the protection becomes active and is non-refundable. Once cancelled, your order will no longer be protected and cannot be undone. To cancel your protection click here.
