Coffee Project NY owner, Chi Sum Ngai, is a certified Q grader and roasting championship competitor, and personally oversees the company’s roasting program. Coffee Project NY sources their coffee from all over the world and favors coffees with a social conscience—many come from small cooperatives and family farms who focus on improving work conditions and benefits for farm workers. Their goal is to share their passion for coffee not only with the East Village, or New York City, but with the world.
