A geeky must-have.

As others have said, the quality far surpasses the oem offering. It is truly 45 gram capacity, as it provides enough for my daily 2 cappuccinos. My only wish is that they would make one twice this size.

Huge upgrade

Love this thing! So much better than the stock one if you single dose. The metal piece that prevents popcorning is much sturdier than the plastic stock one. It developed a bit of a squeak but I'm sure it could be fixed with food safe grease...It doesn't bother me enough to actually fix it though as usually you can't hear it over the grinding. Definitely get this if you single dose!

Top quality!

Quality of this hopper matches the quality of my Mignon XL grinder, which can not be said about the hopper it came with. This or the full size "smoke" hopper is the only upgrade I'd recommend for the otherwise excellent Eureka Mignon grinders.

The best one

Does exactly what it is supposed to do. The metal stopper works great so you can control the flow of the beans. With a little experimentation I discovered it must be closed for the bellows to work properly. And you can see the beans flow. I tried other bellows/ hoppers designs but this one works best. since it is made by the grinder designers, it should be the most functional. Retention works itself out, one grind short, next grind over my 18 grams. Save the difference in old basket and add/ subtract as needed.
