Lavazza Espresso Decaffeinato is made up of a 100% Arabica blend of top quality washed varieties from Central America and natural Arabicas from Brazil. It has a full coffee taste and aroma whether you make it full strength or mix it for a 50/50 half decaf blend of your own creation.

Lavazza uses a modern process of decaffeination with carbon dioxide that does not diminish the flavor and aroma of the roasted coffee beans, a potential downfall of the Swiss water process. The use of carbon dioxide and pure water also avoids the use of potentially harmful substances in the decaffeination process.

For your daily dose of java the Lavazza Decaffeinato contains the essence of a crisp fall day in Italy distilled directly into your cup. Mellow, unhurried and tantalizing to the senses, no oily or burnt taste here!

Depending on where the bag was placed on the pallet during transport, you may receive either a puffy or compressed bag, however both of the presentations are vacumm sealed."

For pre-ground coffee, Lavazza says: "All bricks of Lavazza coffee are fully sealed when shipped by our warehouse. If you squeeze the brick and no air exits, the seal is fully intact and the brick of coffee is fully sealed and there is no impact on freshness or preservation."

Carnival Cruise ship coffee bar coffee!

Found this at the coffee bar when we took one of our many cruises! Love being able to have it at home even though I use it in a drip machine and make it a bit weaker!

Best decaf ever

I was ordered by my doctor to stop using caffeinated products and I lamented having to go to decaf since I have never liked it. I was elated when our wellness nurse suggested this decaf. It is just like the espresso we had in Italy

Excellent decaf

For decaf (well, for coffee in general), this has become my go-to commercial brand. Outstanding taste. My wife like it better than her previous favorite decaf as well. When I'm not roasting my own beans, I opt for Lavazza.

Fine choice for decaf

I can't have caffeine, but I love my Italian coffee, and this allows me the best of both worlds. Plus Seattle Coffee Gear offers it at a very reasonable price. The tin helps the ground coffee stay fresh.Pros:Cons:

Great option for decaf

Due to medical conditions, we've had to reduce our caffeine intake but LOVE espresso. As a result, we have tried many decaf espressos and have settled on this one. It isn't as good as the fully caffeinated options but, for decaf, it is satisfying and is the best we've found!Pros:Cons:
