The Rocket Brew Head Gasket works to seal the portafilter into the machine, and keeps the pressure where you want it – right on the puck! This 8mm OEM gasket matches the sizing of gaskets used on brand-new Rocket machines, so if you've had your machine for a while you may want to look into sizing up.

The gasket around the brew head should be changed every year or so to ensure the seal is maintained between the portafilter and the brewhead during extraction. A major sign that the gasket needs to be replaced is if you notice water leaking over the top of the portafilter during extraction.
