Why should I add an Extend protection plan?

The plan provides coverage after your manufacturer’s warranty expires so you’re covered when it matters most.

What do I need to provide if I file an Extend claim?

When filing a claim with Extend, you will simply need to provide either your contract ID, the email address you used for your order, or another identifying piece of information.

What if I need to return my product within Seattle Coffee Gear's return policy?

If you return your product, Seattle Coffee Gear returns the money you paid for the protection plan. Depending on how much time has passed since your purchase, Extend may issue a prorated refund at Extend's discretion.

What products are eligible for extended protection?

To check if a product is eligible, please check the product page and look for the area containing "Add product protection offered by Extend" near the Add to Cart button. You may need to select a color option prior to this showing up. If product protection does not show up, the product is ineligible for product protection by Extend.

Can I purchase a protection plan after purchasing a machine/item?

Yes! You may purchase a protection plan up until the day before your manufacturer's warranty expires. To do this, please check your customer account for a "Add Protection Plan" button in the orders section. If you don't see this button, please check the product details page itself to see if the product is eligible for product protection.
