Ive had one of these for about 2 years and its gone from barely functional to nearly unusable. Its loud, has retention issues (as mentioned by others), and the worst part is that its gotten slower and slower. Grinding 18 grams for a shot takes about 2 full minutes. I would try to replace the burs, but they are continually sold out. Im looking to replace this grinder, it just hasnt been working out.

nice grinding options and quality, it does leave like 2 gms after you done, but just press the button again so it is fully empty, not a big deal at all. You can press the button and let it run for a second and you can press it again and it will stop. great product to add and nice design.

Quiet, consistent, easy to use, and small footprint

I use the Opus for cold brew and filter brewing (Ratio 6). I use it at least every other day. It looks nice on my counter, it's very easy to adjust the grind size for my needs, it delivers consistent grounds, and it's not loud. Despite the materials not being of the absolute highest quality it feels pretty solid. I don't love the single button mechanic but you can get used to it- it provides for a simple workflow in the morning. The biggest negative (and it's not really that big, to be honest) I've found after about 5 weeks of use is the retention of grounds. I always have to tap the top of the machine to get everything out (and I never get everything out, but you can't really get everything out of any grinder). Ultimately this doesn't bother me too much for what I'm doing, and perhaps grinding at a finer setting will produce less retention. For the price it's a great product and I would but it again.

Excellent grinder of good design, capable of grinding for both espresso and filtered coffee with good consistency.If you want to have all the options in one, it's a very good option.

Inconsistent grind with fines that clog pour over. It holds on to the last two grams of every grind and I have to bang it to get it all out. It's slow. 30 second grind interval is ridiculous. I had one gifted to me and I gave it away too. Breville is 100x better for the same price. I would switch to tea if I had to use this thing every day.

I am very happy with my Opus coffee grinder! It does just what I want. The coffee beans are ground as I want & the way it goes into the container with no mess is wonderful. The ground coffee then pours into press pot with no coffee stuck in the grinder or container.

I have been using the fellow opus grinder for a couple of weeks now and I have to say that it is super easy to use. I have a Moccamaster Brewer and the coffee has improved greatly since I began using this new grinder. The grinder is easy to maintain and clean and it puts out consistent grinds that are perfect for an electric brewer like the Technivorm Moccamaster.Fellow did a really great job of putting together an easy to use and maintain grinder that improves the flavor of your morning cup of coffee at what is in affordable price with a decent warranty I find myself looking forward to the next cup of coffee.
