Built to be the best option for beginning baristas; the Victoria features a compact, handmade design alongside all the tech you need to make your first espresso shots something special. The Victoria offers a PID controlled single boiler setup for consistent, to-the-degree control over brew temperatures—that doubles as your steam boiler for the occasional latte or flat white. LELIT's Control Center (LCC) gives you access to quick temp adjustments, programmable preinfusion, and automated backflushing programs—all useful features for those new to home espresso. Best of all, the Victoria features standard 58mm-sized portafilters and baskets, ensuring easy access to a bevy of accessories like tampers.

What's In The Box
LELIT Victoria espresso machine, 58mm double portafilter (with handle), Single portafilter basket, Double portafilter basket, Backflushing (blind) basket, Tamper, Coffee scoop, Water softener filter, Group cleaning brush, Cup riser, Instruction manual, Power cord.

Setup & First Use

Place the Victoria on a level surface. Fill the water tank with cold filtered water. Install the water softener filter. Allow 20 minutes warmup before pulling shots.

The Victoria is effectively a Kate without the integrated grinder — it uses the same 300mL brass boiler, 58mm group, 3-way solenoid, and LCC system. It is designed to be paired with a separate espresso grinder. The LCC provides PID temperature control, programmable preinfusion, and a shot timer.

The LCC display shows current boiler temperature. Access programming by holding brew/steam buttons at startup. Set brew temperature (93°C default), preinfusion time (3–5 seconds recommended starting point), and review shot timer readings after each pull.

Tutorials & Training

LCC Features

Same as the Kate: PID temperature adjustment, programmable preinfusion, and shot timing. The Victoria's LCC is the same system used on the Mara X and Bianca — you get the same programmability level as machines twice its price.

Pairing with a Grinder

The Victoria works best paired with a dedicated espresso grinder. Common pairings at SCG include the LELIT William, Eureka Mignon series, or Baratza Sette. The Victoria uses a standard 58mm group head and portafilter, meaning a wide range of aftermarket baskets, tampers, and accessories are compatible — including VST and IMS precision baskets.

3-Way Solenoid and Backflushing

The Victoria has a 3-way solenoid for dry pucks and backflushing capability. Run the LCC cleaning program weekly with a blind basket and cleaning tablet for optimal group cleanliness.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Daily Cleaning

After each session, purge the steam wand briefly and wipe it down. Remove the portafilter, knock out the puck, and rinse the basket under warm water. Wipe the group head area and drip tray.

Weekly Backflushing

Backflush the Victoria's group head using the backflushing (blind) basket and espresso machine cleaner such as Cafiza or Puly Caff. Run 5–6 cycles of 10 seconds on / 10 seconds off. Follow with 5–6 plain water rinse cycles. The 3-way solenoid makes the Victoria easy to backflush cleanly.

Ongoing Maintenance

Use soft, filtered water in the reservoir to minimize mineral buildup. Replace the water softener filter per the recommended schedule in your LELIT user manual. Have a qualified technician inspect internal components annually if you use the machine daily.

Troubleshooting

Shots Running Too Fast

Grind finer. Increase dose slightly. If you're new to the machine, allow 20+ minutes warmup time — a cold boiler causes inconsistent extraction temperatures that appear as fast shots.

Shots Running Too Slow / No Flow

Grind coarser. Dose may be too high — reduce by 0.5–1g. Check for scale buildup in the group head shower screen.

Steam Pressure Weak

Allow full warmup time for the steam boiler (10–20 minutes). Check the steam wand tip for blockage — clear with a pin if clogged. On single-boiler machines, switch to steam mode and wait for the boiler to reach steam temperature (typically 5–10 minutes after espresso brewing).

LCC Not Responding

Power cycle the machine. If the LCC display is unresponsive after restart, check all connections and consult the instruction manual for LCC reset procedures.
