Eureka Olympus 75 Neo Hi-Speed Espresso Grinder

Eureka Olympus 75 Neo Hi-Speed Espresso Grinder

The Eureka Olympus 75 Neo Hi-speed has pulled out every stop to live up to its Grecian namesake. The titanic design begins with a towering footprint and a 3.5-pound bean capacity (though smaller hoppers are available). State-of-the-art 75 millimeter flat burrs in hardened steel pulverize beans at speeds impressive even against grinders double its price. Eureka has kept their standard one- and two-cup volumetric dosing controls and stepless adjustment dial for straightforward operation suited for the busiest cafe environments. The power-geared design is rounded out with subtle niceties like an adjustable portafilter holder and an anti-static coating for easy cleanup.

What's In The Box
Your Eureka Olympus 75 E Hi-Speed includes: Grinder unit, large bean hopper with lid, adjustable portafilter fork, cleaning brush, and power cord. The Olympus 75 is a commercial high-speed grinder with 75mm titanium-coated flat burrs and a powerful 800W motor for under-3-second double shots.

Setup & First Use

75mm Titanium Burrs and Hi-Speed Performance

The Olympus 75 E is Eureka's high-speed commercial line, featuring 75mm titanium-coated flat burrs driven by an 800W motor. The titanium coating extends burr life significantly beyond standard hardened steel. At full speed, the Olympus grinds a standard double shot in under 3 seconds—one of the fastest commercial grinders in Eureka's lineup.

Digital Display and Programmable Dosing

The Olympus 75 E features a digital display (not color touchscreen) for controlling single and double shot grind times within 0.1-second precision. Dose counters track single and double shot totals. The display also shows maintenance alerts when burr replacement is recommended based on total grind time.

Stepless Micrometric Adjustment

The Olympus uses Eureka's stepless bottom-burr adjust for near-infinite settings. The bottom-burr system means cleaning the top burr doesn't require recalibration.

Tutorials & Training

Programming Single and Double Doses

Use the digital display buttons to set single and double dose times in 0.1-second increments. Press and hold the single or double button while grinding to set timing, or enter programming mode from the display menu. Verify with a scale after programming.

Manual Grinding Mode

The Olympus includes a manual override for on-demand grinding outside of the programmed doses—press and hold the manual button to grind, release to stop.

Titanium Burr Advantage

The titanium coating on the 75mm burrs maintains sharpness for significantly longer than standard steel burrs. Eureka recommends approximately 1,200–1,500kg before burr replacement with titanium (versus 600–800kg for standard steel). Set the dose counter to track toward this threshold.

High-Speed Workflow

At under 3 seconds for a double, the Olympus 75 pairs naturally with a busy multi-group machine. Verify dose weights at the start of each service day and after any grind adjustment. High-speed grinding is sensitive to grind setting changes—small movements on the adjustment knob have notable impact.

Cleaning & Maintenance

End-of-Shift Cleaning

After each service shift: brush the chute and portafilter fork area, remove grounds from the removable chute assembly (where applicable), and wipe the exterior. Empty the bean hopper if leaving overnight to prevent stale grounds.

Weekly Deep Clean

Run grinder cleaning tablets through the grinder weekly at commercial use levels. Remove and brush clean the burrs if accessible via the top burr access. Check the ACE anti-static system for grounds buildup at the chute exit.

Troubleshooting

Shot Times Inconsistent Despite Same Grind Setting

High-speed burrs are sensitive to temperature and humidity. Verify grind setting hasn't shifted (adjustment knob should be firm between sessions). Check for oil or grounds buildup on the burr surface.

Display Not Showing Accurate Counter

If dose counters have reset unexpectedly, verify the display firmware is current. Contact Seattle Coffee Gear for firmware or display service.
